Choosing a computer repair company that does more than gets the job done, but one who also provides a quality service to its customers? So what are the quality service aspects that separate the good companies from the bad or mediocre ones?
The most important difference is competence. At the end of the day they need to be up to the play with the latest technological developments and the demands of the modern day businesses; and then be able to delivery on all their requirements of service and maintenance. All other aspects are secondary to being able to do the required job.
The next requirement is to be able to do the job in a timely and efficient manner. If it takes the company 6 months to do a repair job, what good is that to you? These aspects as a duel edge of both technical ability to diagnose the problem and also efficiency of the company to acquire parts and delivery a serviced product. The computer repair companies should strive to deliver their services in a timely and efficient manner.
The next aspect is one of communication. How do the staff members treat you? Do they smile or grunt? When you have met with them do you feel valued by them or fleeced by them? Do they call you by name and look respectfully at you or treat you like a number in their growing list of things to do? Do they contact you and keep you informed of the progress of the job and any delays or issues? Do they listen respectfully even when from experience they know immediately what is wrong or do they look board or arrogant as you speak? It’s these little things that set a company apart for its communication skills and gives them a reputation for good service.
The next aspect is the value aspect. Is their hourly rate competitive or do they have a good reason to be higher than others? Do they have a good reputation in the community? It pays to ask your friends and neighbors what experiences they have had with different companies. For example does one company have a lower hourly rate but compensate by loading the time spent on the job. Are they willing to give an estimate or quote for the job?
Computer repair companies compete on these aspects all the time to provide the highest level of service, value for money and establish a reputation in the community.
